Since our launch in November of 2008, so many exciting doors have opened, thousands of women (and men) have subscribed to Kalon Women, talented writers, poets and entrepreneurs have become Kalon authors, friends and joint-business venture partners.

Sometimes I have to pinch myself (okay - not hard) to grasp how far and how fast Kalon Women has grown to where it is today. Without you, our friends, partners, believers, subscribers and contributors it wouldn't have been possible - so we say a BIG Thank You!

So what's new? Kalon Communities are launching in cities all over the country and women are learning how to harness the power of a community of strong, talented women in their local towns. We launched our own Network - Kalon Communities Network for women (sorry guys) which has attracted some of the most amazing, talented, strong and beautiful women from all over the world. It is a "by invitation only" community so it provides our women with more privacy and a more secure environment than most social networks in which to share with other women our deepest, most personal thoughts and ideas. Because of our fast growth, we have had many inquiries about advertising on Kalon Women and at the same time we have had a lot of our subscribers email us hoping that our magazine will not take on the appearance of the typical advertising frenzy seen on most sites.

In keeping with those inquiries and suggestions, Kalon Klicks will launch at the end of February or 1st of March 2009. What is Kalon Klicks? A Directory and Advertising medium of women owned businesses or businesses that directly affect or benefit women 40 plus. The first Directory of its kind geared with YOU - the "woman of a certain age" in mind. As with everything we try to bring to our Kalon Women - we also understand that in our present economy there isn't a lot of money left for advertising - so we've kept our prices affordable for even the smallest company or new business venture. We will keep you posted as the launch date becomes more defined.

There will be more to tell you about in the coming months as Kalon Women evolves and explores new, innovative ways to assist you, our Kalon Women in getting your voice heard and your message out.
