Discussing Relationship Issues on the Web

I've recently been going through some problems in my personal life... with my boyfriend and a couple of my best friends... and I've found that it's tough to find places on the Web to talk about my problems and get helpful feedback and advice. I've found one site, Pandalous, which seems to have a good community for discussions love and relationships. Google searches for people with similar situations to mine have turned up a little bit of good advice, however, finding love advice online isn't as easy as one might think. I look forward to joining this community and seeing where it leads me!

Welcome Christina! I am so glad you decided to join my network! I agree with you that it is difficult to find a place where you can discuss what you are going through in your relationship and get supportive feedback. This is one of the reasons I started this network. I am a couples therapist and so my postings are related to what I have found to be most helpful, based on the couples I have spoken to, met and seen in my practice. But most of all it has to do with what I have experienced in my own relationship of 20 years! Over this time we have gone through many ups and downs! It's great when things are going well...not so great when it seems as if we speak different languages, the distance between us seems like an ocean and there is a lot of pain in our space. So, this is also a place where I can share what has worked and keeps me and my husband on our journey of learning to love deeply, be tender with each other when we are hurting and learn how to connect in such a way that we really learn about and from each other.

This site is in it's infancy, and I am looking forward to watching it grow. In life it's important to seek and ask for what you want, so I invite you to post your questions, suggestions of what you would like to see or just give feedback. And thanks again for joining and such a thoughtful, honest post!
